2025 Fall Registration is OPEN!
Experiment with Colorful Chemistry!
Your Children’s Museum has partnered with Dr. Anne Rodriguez, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Millikin University, to bring CHEMISTRY to you museum-style! This program will consist of TWO one-day camps JUST FOR KIDS in 5th through 8th grade. Participants will receive a record-keeping journal, buttons, and a belt bag. Lunch will be served daily, so please be sure to fill out the allergy information. Camps are held 9am-12pm.
This year our theme is Colorful Chemistry, which will include hands-on projects that explore chromatography, food pigments, titration, cochineal dye, and color detection. $10 per class. Scholarships are available by calling Melanie or Katie at 217-423-5437.
Space is limited–sign up soon to secure your spot!
