CHEM GIRLS

Fall 2024

September 7:
Fun with Food Science

at Children’s Museum of Illinois

Girls will learn about the scientific method while testing out some curious and delicious chemistry experiments.

October 5:
All About Eggs

at Children’s Museum of Illinois

Girls will perform chemistry experiments using multiple techniques with eggs. Can you cook an egg with no heat? We’ll find out!

November 2
Candy Chemistry

at Millikin University Chem Lab in Leighty-Tabor Science Center

Girls will be scientists that conduct experiments to learn about how time and temperature impact candy concoctions.

This is a grant-funded program, which allows us to offer this class at such a low price.
Many thanks to the She-Gave Women’s Giving Circle who voted to educate girls about chemistry!
