This art activity uses very different materials than a paint brush and paint. Let’s get messy with bubbles!

For this activity you will need the following items:

• Dish soap and water (or bubble solution)
• Kool-Aid (or paint)
• Straws
• Thick paper

Now here’s what you do:

1. Mix either Kool-Aid packet or 1 Tablespoon of paint in 1 Cup of warm water (or Bubble Solution).
2. Add 1 Tablespoon of Dish soap (Skip step if using Bubble Solution)
3. Place bubble solution in a cup or bowl with a wide opening.
4. Use the straw to BLOW bubbles. 
5. When bubbles have created a mountain, place your piece of paper on top of the bowl to cover bubbles. 
6. Pull paper away… what do you see?
7. Can you mix different colors and make a beautiful piece of art?
