littleBits™ Base Kit

The Base kit teaches the basics of DC electricity and how energy flows.
Sample project:
Draw a character on cardboard, cut it out and tape it to the motor shaft. When pressed the character will rotate. It could be a ballerina, a snowperson, even an object like a plane.

littleBits™ Deluxe Kit

DC motor, DC servo motor, sound sensor (think: clap on), light pulser, adjustable timer, fork (to add more circuits) lights, buzzer, Lego axle adapter
Similar to the Base kit, but with more components to create new projects.
Sample projects:
Make a flickering lantern, or a candle that turns off and on when you blow on it. Or maybe use motors to make an art-bot or power a Lego® creation with the drive motor.

littleBits™ Korg® Synthesizer Kit

This kit is awesome! Use the components to create various sounds and music!
Sample project:
Build a keyboard or synth mixer. After you build some of the directed projects, experiment with other combinations and become a DJ! Think you got some skills? Plug an auxiliary cord to connect it to your home speakers! (Boots and pants and boots and pants and boots and pants…) ← Ask your kids.

Sample project:

This one is best experienced with the whole family as it can be enhanced by other crafting supplies from adults to assist in making amazing machines and inventions!
